Melanoma Monday is observed on the first Monday in May – May 5th. It’s a national day of recognition to honour those affected by melanoma and skin cancer, raise awareness, and inspire action.

WHO DO YOU WEAR BLACK FOR?

It could be a friend, a family member—or yourself. You can also wear black to raise awareness for melanoma and skin cancer, which affects over 91,000 people in Canada each year.

 Download our printable sign and write in who you wear black for. Then, post a photo on:  Facebook, X or Instagram and tag @melanomacanada so we can share your message.
