Support melanoma and skin cancer patients, caregivers, and medical professionals through current and coordinated information and services.

Educate Canadians on melanoma and skin cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options available.

Be the united voice of the melanoma and skin cancer community, advocating for early detection, timely diagnosis, and effective treatment options.

Vision

Our vision is simple and focused: Zero melanoma and skin cancer related deaths.

Who We Are

Melanoma Canada (formerly Melanoma Network of Canada) was founded by a trio of melanoma survivors and caregivers in 2009: three-time survivor Annette Cyr, survivor Jo Anne Adams and caregiver Terra Deeth. We understand the impact a melanoma or skin cancer diagnosis can have on an individual, family and community, because we’ve been there.

As an employer, Melanoma Canada fosters belonging, purpose and empowerment in the workplace. We are committed to mitigating bias in our hiring practices and to attract talent from all backgrounds.
