- Melanoma Canada launches Canada’s first Mole Mobile unit to visit remote, Indigenous and underserved communities along with major cities to educate Canadians on
sun safety to prevent skin cancers, and help them understand risk factors associated with developing skin cancer. The unit travels across Ontario.
- Melanoma Canada launches Burnwatch program where you can become a certified Burn Guard – the first lifeguards for your skin trained to protect beachgoers from drowning in UV rays.
- Melanoma Canada Produced our “Helping you Understand” video series, with 7 new educational videos on melanoma, non-melanoma, and uveal melanoma.
- Melanoma Canada launches Smash Out Skin Cancer Celebrity Pickleball Tournament fundraising event.
