Georgia hosted, PIKAPEACH Streaming for Melanoma, an online gaming event in memory of her sister, Hilary Mymin, who passed away in October, 2019. The event raised over $1,500!
“I’m doing this event for my sister Hilary, who passed away last October 14, 2019 from Melanoma. She was the most confident, beautiful and resilient person I know, having battled cancer while pregnant and giving birth to her son only a month before passing away. I want to honour her memory as best I can, and I hope to continue this new tradition for years to come.” – Georgia
On behalf of the Melanoma Network of Canada (MNC), we would like to thank Georgia and the Hilary’s family and friends for taking part in this online event, and for their commitment to our cause. We are truly thankful for their generosity support of MNC.
You can help us, as Georgia did, by hosting an event of your own in support of MNC.
Your support continues to be vital as we navigate this ongoing pandemic together. MNC remains committed to providing free patient education resources and support services, and to advocating for new and advanced treatments for melanoma and skin cancer patients.
