OAKVILLE, ON, January 12, 2017 – The Melanoma Network of Canada (MNC) will be attending the 11th Canadian Melanoma Conference – Research Frontiers – on February 2nd-5th, 2017 in Whistler, BC.   The Canadian Melanoma Conference is Canada’s international flagship meeting on the research and treatment of melanoma.

MNC will also be an exhibitor at the conference with a display of its renowned publications and resources on melanoma, a potentially life threatening form of skin cancer, as well as descriptions of its support programs for patients and caregivers.

The conference brings together medical oncologists, surgeons, dermatologists, radiotherapists, pathologists, molecular biologists, immunologists, and other allied health professionals interested in the treatment of melanoma worldwide.

“This is the 9th year that MNC will attend the Canadian Melanoma Conference and we always come away with so much hope after hearing about the new treatment options in the pipelines for this disease,” said Annette Cyr, chair and founder of MNC.  “The conference provides a wonderful opportunity to find out about the new research, clinical trials and studies that are underway that we can pass along to our national patient network.”
