OAKVILLE, ON – AUGUST 31, 2020 – Melanoma Network of Canada (MNC) is pleased to announce the appointment of three (3) new members to the MNC Board of Directors.
“I am honoured to announce that 3 new board members will be joining Melanoma Network Canada Board of Directors,” said Falyn Katz, Executive Director of MNC. “I look forward to working with them to achieve our vision, to improve outcomes for patients and caregivers affected by melanoma and skin cancer.”
Neill Brown, Toronto – Mr. Brown has over 20 years of marketing industry experience. He is a professional leader with a solid foundation of international experience working in North America, APAC, MENA, and Europe. He has been with the McCann Health network for the past 15 years and has helped build Global and Local brands across multiple therapy areas including oncology. Neill is currently Managing Director across both the Toronto and Montreal teams in developing creative solutions to challenges facing today’s healthcare companies.
Michele Christl, Toronto – Mrs. Christl spent the majority of her career in general management, marketing and sales for the dental professional sector of Oral-B, Gillette and Procter and Gamble.Prior to retiring from dentistry, her contributions to the profession were recognized by the Canadian Dental Association by awarding her the prestigious Special Friend to Dentistry. In 2014, she was diagnosed with melanoma in-situ, Stage 0; and in late 2016 a local recurrence resulted in a malignant melanoma Stage 3C diagnosis. Michele is a long-time supporter of MNC both as a peer-support volunteer and participant in MNC’s Strides Walk.
David Elsner, Toronto – Mr. Elsner is President of DHE Consulting. With over 20 years of experience as a consultant and executive, he has advised leading organizations across North America. He is a lecturer in data analytics and visualization at the Schulich School of Business, the Rotman School of Management, the Ted Rogers School of Management, and the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Ontario. He is also the Executive Director of the Yorkville Exotic Car Show, the preeminent annual Father’s Day event in Toronto.
