End of life planning can be an emotional ordeal. A milestone, such as turning a certain age, or reaching retirement, getting married or having children, generally prompts end of life planning. Planning may also be motivated by an accident, illness or health concern.
Irrespective of the reason, end of life planning is a crucial conversation to have with your loved ones. A Will can be a daunting task to tackle, and usually involves lawyers, which can become costly and time consuming. When going through a melanoma or skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, the added stress and costs are something patients shouldn’t have to worry about. That is why Melanoma Network of Canada has partnered with Willfora, an estate planning tool that allows our supporters to create a legal Will online at no cost.
